The Court defined the class as all persons residing in the United States whose Private Information was compromised in the December 2024 Lands' End data incident. Excluded are Lands' End and its directors and officers, governmental entities, the judge in the case together with the judge's immediate family and court staff, and anyone who validly opts out. Class members were identified from Lands' End's records and most were sent a notice; if you are unsure, the settlement administrator will check for free.

Potential benefitTwo years of CyEx Financial Shield Complete credit monitoring, plus one of two cash options: reimbursement of documented out-of-pocket losses caused by the incident, capped at $5,000 and limited to losses incurred between December 6, 2024 and October 22, 2026 and not already reimbursed by a third party; or a one-time alternative cash payment expected to be $60 with no proof required. The $5,000 is a cap and the $60 is an estimate, not guaranteed. Official pages differ on whether credit monitoring must be claimed or is provided automatically; enrollment codes were mailed by postcard and activate only after the settlement becomes final. The settlement is proposed; the final approval hearing is November 6, 2026 and payments follow approval and any appeals.
